Hi! I think of jewelry as union of art, design and craft. So you can call me a studio jeweler, an artist, a designer, a craftsmen; I just call myself a jeweler.
Originally from Michigan, I earned her Jewelry BFA in 2013 at Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. Currently I work as a full time diamond setter in Lexington, KY.
In my free time, I design and fabricate one-of-a-kind and limited production jewelry. Most of my work is completed in sterling silver, but I also enjoy working in a variety of materials.
For me, blogging is about creating and sharing worthwhile, original content. I write about the jewelry I make or repair, metalsmithing, tools, and anything else related to jewelry. Enjoy my blog, share what you learn, and feel free to comment on my posts.
When I am not at work, I enjoy playing my fiddle and mandolin, knitting, occasionally blogging, and hanging out with my husband, Dave and our cat.
What’s most important to me is that my jewelry is created by hand, using only quality materials with careful attention to design and craft.
